Tabor JD Rakek

This weekend members of caving club JD Rakek went to forests of Snežnik to find and explore new caves. They went on their way on friday afternoon while I was going to join them on sathurday morning. With a printed map and a approximate coordinates on GPS I somehow found them after an hour and a half.

I caught them red handed. They were exploring the cave near the camp.
Happy to se a masterpiece of a cave plan. Not.
They cleaned the cave of equipment.
We picked up our gear...
...and went on to search for new caves.
This wan was so small that we could write down measures at the entrance.
We went back to camp. Soon after the other group came back to camp. Later on three more member joined us.
We slept through the night without any wildlife visits. However dormice were very noisy.
We spent most of Sunday on the field.
Every now ant then we woke a swarm of gnats that were resting on beech leaves.
