Progression in cave Huevos

In the beginning of July 2017 we went to Kanin plateau in caving bivouac. Our goal was to further explore cave Huevos.
We took sky lift to Kanin sky resort and walked from there on. We followed the path to Peter Skalar alpine hut from where we descended to caving bivouac. It took us 2½ hours and the weather was cloudy with poor visibility. When we arrived at bivouac we immediately started fixing the gutter and barrels that collect water from the roof. Next morning we gathered caving equipment and walked to cave Huevos that's a mere 15 minutes away from bivouac.

While descending in cave we re-rigged some anchors and deviations. The cave is full of narrow passages and squeezes what made progressing with two bags challenging. When we reached last discovered parts at -450m we equipped the rope and descended to -520m depth where we were stopped by a squeeze that wasn't passable (yet). After nine hours work we began our ascend. In the following days on the surface we broadened the entrance to the cave, cleaned the bivouac and cast foundation for tarpaulin to have more sleeping space in summer days. The work on bivouac never stops. On Wednesday morning 5th of July we were expecting a chopper that was supposed to bring additional food and equipment and take us to the valley. But due to the bad weather the chopper was canceled and we had to walk back to sky resort where we took sky lift to Bovec. We ended the day with a refreshing jump in Soča river
